Remove a price category from one event

Use this when one event should stop offering a price such as Child, Reduced, Member, or Group.

Before you start

Do not archive the global price category unless it should disappear from every offer. For one event, change the event's Prices instead.

Steps

  1. Open Services > Events.
  2. Open the event and select Prices.
  3. Find the row with the price category to remove.
  4. Select Remove price on the row, then confirm Remove. Select Cancel to keep the row. This removes the row from the form; it does not delete the shared price category or product.
  5. Select Update prices to save the removal.
  6. Test the event in the online shop and POS, if both channels are used.

What changes

The category is no longer available for future sales on this event. Existing orders, invoices, tickets, and reports automatically retain the historical category label and amount; no separate audit is required for a normal removal.

Expected result

Future sales for this event no longer offer the removed category. Other events can continue using the same price category.
